25 years in the Brisbane recruitment market and I still love it! I like to think I have an enviable network in the Brisbane market which helps me attract the very best talent for our clients.

I’m extremely proud of Majer’s wonderful reputation for delivering exceptional recruitment solutions to Queensland’s leading companies. I am so fortunate to work alongside a passionate, driven and down to earth team. We have lots of fun in the office – no one day is ever the same!

I thrive on finding new and exciting ways of doing business. It is important to my team and I that our candidates and clients alike feel very relaxed and comfortable with the way we work and we take exceptional care with each recruitment assignment.

When I’m not at work, my son Henry keeps me on my toes! Health and wellbeing is very important to me, so if I’m not at my desk, you’ll most likely find me swimming laps at the Valley Pool, attending a pilates class, playing some tennis at New Farm Park or doing PT with my team each Tuesday! Oh, and Arthur always loves a good walk.

When I am not working you can find me on the dance floor – Ballroom, Latin and Line Dancing!

I was lucky enough to land in recruitment in 2013. I had finished my law degree and returned from a year of travelling to join a grad program. Since that time I have grown a career over 9 years recruiting in both England and Australia. I have worked on all levels of recruitment from executive leadership to short term placements.

I love assisting a candidate in finding their dream job or helping a client find that perfect person. Being a part of such an important aspect of someone’s life is a real privilege and something that I find really rewarding. It truly matters to me that my clients and candidates have an enjoyable journey that is as stress-free as possible.

When I am not at work you will either find me at the beach or dragging my husband and friends on a hike. I love being outdoors so will often spend the weekend in my active gear walking our little puppy or finding some good spots for yoga.

I’m Majer’s latest member! I started working in recruitment 4 years ago. I recently packed up and left the cold Irish weather to experience the slightly warmer Aussie lifestyle!

I have recruited for many sectors from Engineering to Investment Banking and have worked in recruitment from a sourcing and marketing perspective. I love the fast-paced environment and being a part of the candidate journey to their dream job! Building great rapport with candidates and clients is something I pride myself on and it makes showing up to work that much more enjoyable!

When not working you’ll most likely find me at the gym or cuddled up with a cup of tea and my crotchet, there really is no in-between

I have worked as an accountant for over 20 years in both public practice and commerce. I have a Bachelor of Business Degree in Accounting and was admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 2002. I’ve been lucky enough to work at Majer with Suzie for over 9 years.

In my part time role at Majer, I look after the company’s financial management and my goal is to keep the company’s day-to-day business ticking over with minimum disruption. I am a keen advocate of having a streamlined business operation for the team to work at their best.

My three children, husband and our beagle keep me very busy when I am not at work!

Arthur Majer

‘Talent’ed Dog

I’m a standard long-haired dachshund, born on a farm in Tasmania. My career highlight has been my move to Brisbane to live with Suzie and Henry.

I spend five days a week at Majer HQ and I take my job very seriously. The most important aspect of my role at Majer is to play with the team when I can sense they’re feeling stressed or things are getting hectic around the office.

It’s my favourite part of the job (along with walks around James Street where I get lots of attention).
