When I’m not at work my son Henry keeps me on my toes! Health and wellbeing is very important to me, so if I’m not at my desk, you’ll most likely find me swimming laps at the Valley Pool, attending a pilates class, playing some tennis at New Farm Park or doing PT with my team each Tuesday! Oh and Arthur loves a good walk.
My journey in recruitment started in 2014 – I have always had a passion for customer service and I really enjoy building solid relationships with both clients and candidates.
The satisfaction of placing a candidate in their dream role or finding a client that gem that they need is what made me fall in love with recruitment! I enjoy the pace and the variety that recruitment offers – no two days are ever the same!
When I am not working you can find me on the dance floor – Ballroom, Latin and Line Dancing!
Since 2000 I have been involved in delivering great customer service an area in which I thrive. I’ve spent the past 6 years recruiting for a well known large Australian company working with both internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure the best candidate for the position.
With my personality I find it very easy to build rapport with clients and candidates alike and I get immense satisfaction in helping them obtain the outcome they are after whilst following them on their journey.
My passion outside working hours is my husband and son Dougie who I just can’t get enough of. Family time down the beach or walks to the park with our dog is where you will find me.
I’m new to the recruitment world and eager to learn from some of the best in the biz. My position at Majer is a great opportunity to experience business first hand as it aligns well with my current studies in Business HR at Queensland University of Technology.
I would consider myself a real people person and find great satisfaction in being able to help people which is something I’m most excited about in this role. I’ve worked in health the past few years as a Practice Manager whilst studying.
I’m definitely a country girl a heart having grown up in the small Central Queensland town of Biloela. When I’m not studying or working you’ll find me spending time with my friends and family that I have here whilst also travelling back home occasionally!
I have worked as an accountant for over 20 years in both public practice and commerce. I have a Bachelor of Business Degree in Accounting and was admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 2002. I’ve been lucky enough to work at Majer with Suzie for over 5 years.
In my part time role at Majer, I look after the company’s financial management and my goal is to keep the company’s day-to-day business ticking over with minimum disruption. I am a keen advocate of having a streamlined business operation for the team to work at their best.
My 3 little children, husband and our beagle keep me very busy when I am not at work!
I’m a standard long-haired dachshund, born on a farm in Tasmania. My career highlight has been my move to Brisbane to live with Suzie and Henry.
I spend 5 days a week at Majer HQ and I take my job very seriously. The most important aspect of my role at Majer is to play with the team when I can sense they’re feeling stressed or things are getting hectic around the office.
It’s my favourite part of the job along with walks around James Street.
