I’ve worked in recruitment in Brisbane for over 18 years, and I absolutely love it! It was quite an honour to be admitted into the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2011.  I’m very proud of Majer’s great reputation for supplying the best candidates to Queensland’s leading companies and am so fortunate to work with such a fabulous team – we all have so much fun in the office – no one day is the same!

I’m super energetic – always trying to come up with new and exciting ways of doing business.  I really want both our candidates and clients to feel welcome and relaxed when they come to visit.  You’ll find our office environment pretty friendly, funky and down to earth.

My son Henry keeps me balanced and busy when I’m not working! I try to keep fit by swimming laps in the Valley Pool, doing Pilates, playing tennis and PT with my team each week. Oh and walking Arthur.

I am studying Career Development and love using my new knowledge to understand what a candidate is after and how we can help them achieve their goals! 

In my spare time, I love spending time with my family – my partner and energetic 3 and a half year old!

My career in recruitment began 8 years ago.  I commenced work in a temp position with Monadelphous, an engineering and construction company, and have been in recruitment ever since with Laing O’Rourke & Morris Corporation.  I have been lucky to work with some amazing people and companies, largely in the mining, construction and resource sectors.

Working in recruitment is challenging, rewarding and varied – every project and role is different and every candidate is unique.  That’s one of the things I love most about recruitment – you’re able to meet so many wonderful people, each with their own set of talents and experiences.  Spending time out and about in the sunshine with my beautiful little family and friends are some of the things I like to do in my spare time.

With a background in business banking in London and Australia, I have experience across numerous industries including property development, accounting, finance, healthcare, engineering, professional service firms and not for profit organisations. I am most passionate about client relationship management, human resource management and business and the most rewarding thing for me is to help people achieve their personal and business goals. Recruiting gives me great satisfaction knowing that I have the potential to introduce great candidates to different types of organisations based on understanding the Clients’ business strategies and working culture.  

I have two very active children, Zachary and Eliana. As a family, we love going to the beach, park or eating out. We often run or cycle with our friends and our dog Gracie to stay fit. My biggest passion is traveling abroad to explore different cultures and food.

I have worked as an accountant for the last 15 years in both public practice and commerce. I have a Bachelor of Business Degree in Accounting, was admitted as a chartered accountant in 2002, and am an associate fellow of the Australian institute of management. 

In my part time role at majer, I look after the company’s financial management and my goal is to keep the company’s day-to-day business ticking over with minimum disruption.  I am a keen advocate of implementing processes and systems to achieve a streamlined business operation.

I’m currently interning at Majer every Wednesday and have been lucky enough to gain some amazing experience in HR and recruitment. I would say my favourite part about this area is being able to meet new people every day. Of course, I also absolutely love working with the team – I mean, how could you not when there’s an office dog?  

During the other days of the week, you’ll most likely find me studying HR and psychology at The University of Queensland.

I'm a standard long-haired dachshund born on a farm in Tasmania until I moved to Brisbane to live with Suzie and Henry.

I spend 5 days a week at majer HQ and I take my job very seriously. The most important aspect of my role at majer is to play with the team when I can sense they're feeling stressed or things are getting hectic around the office.

It’s my favourite part of my job along with walks around James street and team personal training at New Farm Park each week.
